Travis McBride
Program Director/ The Morning Mix Show
A local 2008 Grad of the Independence High School,
Travis represents the music and arts part of the community having
been a part of 3 state champion Jazz Bands with the Mustang Music
Program A Native of Independence, Travis has been involved in numerous
events including Friday Night Life @ 5, The Buchanan Co. Fair, Winthrop
Days, Rowley Days, the Independence 4th of July celebration and many
others through his involvement in local live entertainment - you may
remember having seen him with local Independence Band Stampede
throughout the last decade. Currently, Travis is still an avid
performer either with guitar, drums, keyboards and numerous others
while performing with local band Lockren. He is also attending the
University of Northern Iowa in his third year. Having lived in
Independence for two decades, Travis is the perfect match to keep KQMG
sounding local and like you want to hear.
Nacho ( Mason Moran )
The All Request Show - Production Assistant
A Native of Independence and recent 2010
Independence High School Grad, Nacho anchors our afternoon drive time
from 4pm-6pm with the All Request Show. Nacho represents the athletic
side of KQMG having been a high school athlete in both Mustang Football
and Tennis. Nacho is one of the friendliest and outgoing members on the
KQMG Team so if you see him out and about, stop him and say hello! As
KQMG is out and about on location, you may just see him! He's always
our man on the go! Currently, Nacho is preparing for his first year at
the University of Northern Iowa. If you want to know more on the local
community make sure you don't miss one moment ot Nacho's All Request
Show as he is 100% Community Minded!
Maria Danza
Mornings
Maria is a native of Long Island, New York, and has worked in radio for
the past 20 years. She never though her degree in Radio/TV/Film would
actually be put to use. The goal was to find a fun job, and she hit the
jackpot!!! She is dedicated to her job, almost as much as she is to her
son Joseph, who is the light of her life.
Some of her favorites:
Hobby - collecting vintage Barbie Dolls, although I don't have much
time for it anymore.
Food - Do I look picky... no seriously, Italian and Chinese are my
favorites.
Movies - Romantic comedies!! Nothing scary, I don't like to pay to be
stressed out!!
Music - Classic Hits and Classic Rock...although I can listen and enjoy
pretty much anything but rap and classic country.
Person I would like to meet -Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, too
many to mention.
In my spare time, its all about my son Joseph. If he's happy, I'm
happy. And I'm very lucky!
Dave Michaels

Dave Michaels, your DJ on duty during the Classic Hits "Workday Request
Party." Dave was born and raised in Fresno, California. Dave discovered
radio at a very early age. It was during a Phil Silvers television show
that Dave decided being inside the radio was the thing for him. So Dave
set out on a quest... one that has lead him to you every day on Classic
Hits. And to his listeners, Dave truly believes, "...You are the
world's greatest radio listening audience! Thank you for being part of
Classic Hits Radio!"
Steve Gunn 
Afternoons
Steve has had a long radio career which included KCMO-AM/FM in St.
Louis, WBMX-FM, WGCI-FM and WBBM-FM all in Chicago. Throughout Steve's
career at Citadel Media he has worked for several formats and still
does, including Classic Hits Radio. "I came, I saw, I broadcast". The
